Story Line
A documentary about the journey of eight teams competing in the world’s toughest Tour de France cycle race.
Summary
Hold onto your helmets; a new trailer for the next Netflix Tour de France series, Tour de France: Unchained, has just been released. The Tour de France is really straightforward’, is the first line of this final trailer before the season concludes on 8 June. Every day, across 21 stages, there is a bicycle race. Okay, good. But this July will be severe if the Giro d’Italia is any hint of what’s to come. It is already obvious that the Netflix series will feature drama. Team automobiles on the racecourse collide, sprint, and tear. Seven teams will compete in this first season’s eight phases during the 2022 Tour de France. The eight documentary episodes will all be available before the 2023 action starts. And don’t worry—season two is already confirmed.
This last trailer perfectly captures how exhilarating and occasionally risky road cycling can be at this level. In an effort to succeed, the raiders are willing to risk their lives. Because winning a stage at the Tour de France is the pinnacle of success. More is not possible. The series is being developed by the same group behind the Formula 1 series Drive to Survive, which was incredibly well-liked even by people who aren’t lovers of motor racing. Surely the same level of anxiety should be anticipated for the Tour de France. After the bingeing begins, good luck getting any sleep the next week.
