Story
The story of the series revolves around a
secret game in which 456 players risk their lives to play a series of very
deadly games to win 35 million US dollars which is equal to 45.6 billion South
Korean currency. All players are in deep financial trouble.
Cast
The main cast of the series includes
- Lee Jung- Jea as Seong Gi-hun. He is a divorced chauffeur and also a gambling addict. He lives with his mother and struggles to support his daughter financially. He plays this game in order to achieve financial stability.
- Pak Hae as Cho sang woo. He is a former head of an inves6team at a securities company. He was a junior classmate of lee Jung-Jea.
- Wi Ha – joon as Hwang jun-ho. He is a police officer who takes part in the game as disguised as a guard to find his missing brother.
- Jung Ho Yeon as Kang Sae- byeok. She is a north Korean defector and plays the game in order to pay for a broker to rescue her parents.
- O Yeong-Su as Oh II-nam. He is an elderly man and has a brain tumor. He prefers to play games instead of waiting to die.
- Heo Sung as Jang – Deok-Su. He is a gangster who plays the game to pay for his massive gambling debts.
- Kim Joo-young as Han Mi- nyeo. She is a manipulative and loud woman.
